Getting Started
Access the Realm Connect app:
Download the Realm Connect app from either the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).
Please make sure you choose the ‘Realm Connect - For Our Church’ app!
Access Realm Connect via their website:
Sign in to Realm Connect on their website.
Creating an account in realm connect
If you have been attending Covenant Grace for some time, you should have received an *‘Invite’ to sign in to Realm Connect. If you received an invite, click on the link within the email to create your login to Realm Connect.
If you did not receive an invite, use the ‘Sign Up’ link to request an invite or stop by the Welcome Table to confirm your email address is on file.
If you are new to Covenant Grace Church, you can request an *invite to join Realm Connect via the ‘Sign up’ link on the Realm website.
Invitation to join Realm connect
Once an individual downloads the Realm Connect app or they have accessed the Realm website and requested an invitation to join, invitations will be sent to people’s email address connected to their Realm account.
Accessing THE Realm connect APP for the first time
If you already have a username and password and you can login, you are ready to go. Skip down to Updating Your Profile section to continue.
If this is your first time attempting to use the Realm Connect app or Realm website, you will need to choose the ‘Sign up’ link from from the website to request an invitation to join Realm Connect. It’s important to note Realm Connect is available from their website or their app, but the website is best for initial setup including requesting an *invitation.
If you can’t login because you don’t know your password, and you have previously requested an invite via the website, you should receive an *invitation to join Realm Connect with 48 hours after your request to be ‘invited’.
*To limit access to Realm Connect to those who call Covenant Grace home, invitations are required to join Realm Connect.
accounts and Profiles
Accounts
If you have an existing account and/or you have accepted your invitation to join Realm Connect, you will be able to login with a username and password. You will need to establish your password for Realm Connect at your initial login.
Profiles
When you access the Realm Connect app or website and you only see a username when attempting to login to the Realm Connect, you will need to request an invitation to access Realm Connect. You can complete a Realm Connect account request from the Realm website.
Once you are able to login to the Realm Connect app or website, you will be able to update your profile.
UPDATING YOUR PROFILE
You can update either your individual, family and child’(s’) profiles within the app or the website. Updates may be easier from the website.
IMPORTANT: Minor children’s profile information can be blocked by their parents.
A profile has several fields. Please make sure you update the following information, if necessary.
Managing Privacy (designate what information you wish to share)
Your name, including first and last
Your mailing address
Your mobile and other phone numbers
Your email address (this is very important to receive timely communications)
**Individual photo
**Family photo, if you and other members of your family attend CovGrace
Family Positions (This field allows one to designate familial relationships. You can choose to be as thorough as you wish. For example, one can designate a spouse, children as well as mother-in-law, uncle, etc.)
Ministry Interests is a subset of family positions and identifying areas of ministry interest could be very useful to share where individuals feel led to serve.
Spiritual Gifts is a subset of family positions and identifying spiritual gifts could be very useful to share where individuals feel led to share their gifts.
Skills & Interests (Adding information to this area may be useful for individuals seeking expertise from people in specific fields)
CHURCH DIRECTORY
The Covenant Grace Church Directory will feature individuals and families who regularly attend Covenant Grace Church. When a profile is created every individual is opted in to be included in the Church Directory. If you wish to opt out and not be be listed in the church directory, please see Del Helms at the Welcome Table on Sunday mornings or call/text him at 951-834-8278 or email him at del_helms@icloud.com.
Individuals
Every adult will have their own profile within the Realm Connect app.
Families
Married individuals will be listed with their spouses. Couples and individuals with children will be listed with their names and contact information and the names of their children, but no personal information for children will be shared in the directory.
