Historic Creeds

We are Christians so we affirm the historic creeds of the church including: The Apostles’ Creed, The Nicene Creed, and The Athanasian Creed.

The Five Solas

We are Protestants so we affirm the Five Solas of the Reformation:

  • Sola Scriptura (“Scripture alone”): The Bible is our only infallible authority.

  • Sola Fide (“faith alone”): Faith alone unites us to Christ and justifies us before God.

  • Sola Gratia (“grace alone”): We are saved by the grace of God alone.

  • Solus Christus (“Christ alone”): Jesus is the only mediator to God.

  • Soli Deo Gloria (“to the glory of God alone”): God alone saved, so God alone gets the glory.

Historic Confession and Catechism

We are Reformed so we are in vast agreement with the “Three Forms of Unity”: The Belgic Confession (1561), The Heidelberg Catechism (1563), and The Canons of Dort (1619).

We have both credobaptist and paedobaptist members. Our members tend to be continuationist when it comes to the spiritual gifts.

For the purpose of membership we have this statement of faith.
